I used these treat bags made by Darice 3 inches by 4.75 inches bought through Joanns online for $2.09 for 200 bags. www.joanns.com They come in many sizes to meet your needs.
I bought the Hugs online from a bulk candy place, but by the time shipping was added I found it was considerably cheaper to just by them at Walmart.
Looking to boost your neighborhood? Want to increase the sense of community? Try using Door Hangers. These are great for neighbors, church groups, girl scouts, boy scouts, school groups, block watch groups, etc.
Start a tradition in your neighborhood or with your local businesses. Buy clear treat bags from your favorite store [see links for ideas] and print out the bag topper [see file below] and fill with your choice of candy. Staple the bags shut and punch a hole at the top. Loop a rubber band through the hole if you are going to hang the bags on door knobs or mail boxes.
For your selected holiday, start 2 -3 weeks ahead of time and hang them on your neighbors front door knobs or garage door handles. Drop them off at your favorite businesses. Hopefully they will all catch the spirit and pass on the tradition and favor to their friends, family and businesses.
Use the files below to get you started. Customize them to meet your goal and have fun!
They are designed to be cut out in 3 inch by 4 inch pieces using card stock that can be folded in half to fit the treat bags shown with two staples at the bottom.
